The original 45 mile Forest of Avon circumnavigation of Bristol, created by TACH's Chris Bloor. There are numerous variations on this route. A popular choice for TACHers first ultramarathon. The traditional start/finish is Ashton Court Mansion House but, being circular, you can start and finish anywhere. Community Forest Path.
A former local race, the Gordano Round Marathon. A 26.2 miles double loop centred on the Black Horse pub in Easton-in-Gordano. Easy enough to do a single loop. Be aware that some parts of the coastal path near Clevedon may have diversions for coastal erosion, and Hinkley power line works may disrupt elements near Caswell / Naish hill. Gordano Round.
A TACH festive favourite. Although it can be done at anytime of the year. A 28m mile loop of Bath. The climb up Solsbury Hill is optional, but worth the views. [last checked Dec 2022]
Green Goddess.
A former TACH event. 27.2 miles comprising three loops (10.6 miles, 6.6 miles and 10 miles) from Stanton Drew Village Hall. Please skip the stone circles at the start if you have a dog or don’t want to pay the £1. And do not take dogs on Folly Farm (part of loop 3). [last checked Nov 2023]
